Simple things make me so happy! Today, while I was out and about I remembered to stop by Joanne's to take advantage of their sale on thread.....50% off!! I tried to keep myself in check and only buy some new thread and not all of the thread!! Here are the new colors I bought to add to my thread basket and palette. I think I did pretty good. The Happy Homemaker

I am busy getting ready for the Happy Homemaker Workshop that's coming up next weekend at Sweetpeas & Snapshots. This is a full day workshop where we will have fun sharing our stories and creating art!
In the morning, we will be constructing our little houses. Then in the afternoon, we will be creating unique books on vintage spools.

Jenny Doh recently gifted me with the book Where Women Create, thus inspiring me to give my studio space a make-over. This book gave me so many ideas for seeking beauty and function. Thank you Jenny!
