Butterfly Fairies
The idea for these little ones came to me when I found a strip of matboard
(yes, that I couldn't throw away!) Next, the idea became make little pocket (travel) art for my artfest housemates. Then time just got away from me with all the projects I was trying to accomplish and also my other persona, aka Mom/Honey, uses a LOT of my time!
Well, I finally got to finish these little pocket scrap art pieces!
(I'm only 2 months behind!)
Last step is to package these up with lots of love and send them off.......
Actually, when you think about it, I'm doing pretty good that I went back and finished them!!
Cheers, Lisa

ArtFest
Here's the art I made at this year's ArtFest. My instructors were great and I would definately reccommend taking classes from all of them: Jane Wynn, Laurie Mika, and Michael de Meng.
Wonderful experiences with so many cool people and arT!!
Thank you to all the people who work to bring it to us and to all who come and create!!
Cheers, Lisa

ArT a la Michael de Meng
ArT Sisters
I met Kim, my art sister at ArtFest, 2004.
That year Judy hosted a journal round robin.
(I will post some pictures of that book later.......it's incredible!)
Anyway, Kim and I were next to each other in the mailing order, so we ended up keeping in touch with each other. Then at ArtFest, 2005 Kim suggested we do a monthly art swap and that's basically how we became art sisters!
Originally we had an open theme, creating anything our muse desired, but this year we decided to base our theme on artists' style we both admire.
It will be fun to see and explore how each artists's style influences our own art.
