I forgot the Green Pepper Press part!

Here are all the great stamps I just got from Michelle Ward's company Green Pepper Press.
Aren't they super cool??! Well, she is releasing a NEW line called the WAYWARD Collection!
Beautiful Michelle!! You can check them out by going to her link at the bottom of the page.
I'm not sure why they are at the bottom of the page, but they are there for now.
I'm an artist, not an engineer! Cheers, Lisa

Green Pepper Press & Michelle Ward

When I first started my blog I promised more art stories.....Explaining the journey I'm on, well...
Michelle Ward is a kindred art spirit! I'll never forget the pleasure of being in her studio learning and sharing art! I traveled from Mass. to NJ with my son's art teacher, my friend Sharon.
We had such a great time making our house books!! Thank you Michelle!

My next encounter with Michelle was at ArtFest (the art retreat in Pt. Townsend, WA).
It was my first year and she welcomed me over to her table and made me feel right at HOME with her circle of artist friends. Her gracious heart is so wise and kind!!

Anyway, that's not all .....a few years later we crossed paths again!
This time at the TRUE Colors Event at the ArtBar in Santa Ana, CA.
Seeing her and being around her is so comfortable and easy.....
The sparkle in her eyes lets you know her spirit is HOME!

Dear Michelle, without knowing it you have become a mentor!
Thank you for your kindness and inspiration!
Sincerely, Lisa

Character Constructions

Everybody needs a little character!! If you are not familiar with this stamp line check them out!
Catherine Moore is listed under my art links. Her images are so beautiful you will want to just stamp the day away!! Kind and giving Catherine also hosts a Yahoo group!!
Lots of inspiration and cool stuff to be found!! Many of the stamps I have been using to create my paper dolls can be purchased there. Thank you Catherine!! Cheers, Lisa

Punch Card ART

Sometime ago I received an email on one of the Yahoo art groups I belong to. It was about an interesting art project involving ballot punch cards. All were invited to request a ballot and then use it in some fashion to create art to be included in the exhibit.
I decided to participate and requested a ballot. It arrived and included the envelope that it had to be returned in. (That was pretty much the only stipulation.....it must fit in the envelope.)
I created a little postcard collage with two sisters and posted it before sending it off to be part of the exhibit. Here is a link to see the whole exhibit. Very cool! EnJoy!! Lisa http://www.washingtonpavilion.org/VisualArtsCenter/Collections/punchcard.cfm
