Another suit complete, this one is for Kim.....now only two more to go!
Altering playing cards is fun. I followed Kim's advice and painted the cards. Then I went at it adding collage elements, some scraps, a stamp or two, brads, eyelets and even stitches. I love seeing them all together!

A Nest 4 Me and You

Today I found this wonderful old flour sifter at the salvation army.
I plan on making it into a shrine. I can see a little bird's nest tucked
into the cup along with some other bits....making us a cozy little home.

Handbag Auction 4 Charity

This is a close up of the handbag that I made and am auctioning for charity. It was featured in Somerset Studio's Haute Handbags publication.

Kimber Hawkins/Thurman is an experienced and well respected member of the San Diego technical diving community. She is a single mother who is currently recovering from a life threatening incident, leaving her with substantial medical bills.
